Expressing her feelings after receiving the award, Dr. Maria Zulfiqar said:

It is not solely the result of my efforts but the reflection of my parents, teachers mentors, colleagues, and friends’ prayers and encouragement. I dedicate this award to my late father, whose principles, guidance, and prayers have always illuminated my path in life.
