Apple Working on Budget-Friendly iPhone, iPad, and Mac 2026

Apple budget iPhone iPad Mac 2026

Apple may have completed its 2025 product launches, but according to recent reports, the company is getting ready to release a number of less expensive devices in early 2026. Jeff Pu, Apple plans to introduce a budget-friendly iPhone, iPad, and Mac lineup next year.

iPhone 17e: Familiar Design, New Chip

According to Pu, the iPhone 17e is anticipated to launch in the middle of 2026’s first quarter. According to reports, the A19 chip, 8GB of RAM, and Apple’s new 18MP front-facing camera will replace the current model’s design. Apple will continue to use the C1 modem rather than the more recent C1X 5G modem, and the 48MP primary camera and notch design are anticipated to stay.

Low-Cost Mac and iPad in Development

Additionally, Apple is planning more reasonably priced MacBook and iPad models. The A18 chip and 8GB RAM are anticipated to be included in the base iPad, which will be the last model to support Apple Intelligence. Although its specifications and design are still unknown, the low-cost MacBook might have a processor comparable to the iPhone.

Revised iPhone 18 Series Timeline

Pu’s predictions for Apple’s 2027 lineup have been adjusted. He now projects that the iPhone Air 2, iPhone 18, and iPhone 18e—all of which will include the new C2 5G modem—will be released in early 2027. It’s possible that the iPhone 18 Pro models will launch with a scaled-down Dynamic Island design.
