Petrol Prices May Drop in Pakistan from December 1 — Relief Expected for 15 Days

Petrol price drop in Pakistan December 2025

Starting December 1, 2025, a major petrol price drop in Pakistan December 2025 is expected for the next 15 days. According to industrial and government sources, fuel prices may go down by up to Rs6.35 per liter.

Increased global supply, particularly after Kuwait’s Al-Zour refinery restarted several of its units, is responsible for the December 2025 drop in petrol prices in Pakistan.

Expected Price Changes

Here’s a breakdown of the expected changes in petroleum product prices:

  • Petrol:

May decrease by Rs 3.70 per liter, bringing the price down from Rs 265.45 to Rs 261.75 per liter.

  • High-Speed Diesel (HSD):

Expected to drop by Rs 4.28 per liter, reducing the price from Rs 284.44 to around Rs 280.16 per liter.

  • Kerosene Oil:

A small decrease of Rs 0.73 per liter is expected, lowering the price from Rs 194.34 to approximately Rs 193.61 per liter.

  • Light Diesel Oil (LDO):

The biggest drop is expected here—Rs 6.35 per liter, bringing the price down from Rs 170.80 to Rs 164.45 per liter.

An increase in the world’s fuel supply is the reason for the anticipated relief. One of the biggest refineries in the Gulf, Kuwait’s Al-Zour, has started up again in a number of locations, increasing its availability abroad and cutting expenses.
