Pakistan Air Force JF-17 Thunders Arrive in Azerbaijan for “Indus Shield Alpha” Exercise

The Pakistan Air Force has sent a contingent of its modern JF-17 Thunder jets to Azerbaijan, showcasing their skills with a practical demonstration of in-flight refueling. According to the ISPR, this team, which includes both air and ground experts, has arrived to take part in the bilateral air exercise known as “Indus Shield Alpha.” The goal of this exercise is to foster cooperation between the air forces of Pakistan and Azerbaijan.

During the exercise, the Pakistan Air Force aircraft displayed impressive capabilities and remarkable endurance, successfully completing a non-stop flight from Pakistan to Azerbaijan. The in-flight refueling process was executed with exceptional precision.

This refueling was carried out using the Pakistan Air Force’s own IL-78 aerial tanker, highlighting the professionalism of the crew and their readiness for long-range missions on a global scale.

The main aim of Exercise Indus Shield Alpha is to deepen mutual understanding and improve tactical coordination, ultimately strengthening the bond between these two friendly air forces.

The exercise will emphasize modern air warfare strategies and collaborative planning, adapting to the demands of evolving technology and air power.
