Maryam Nawaz inaugurates Mobile Police Station Punjab for public service delivery

The Mobile Police Station Punjab has officially been launched. Making it easier for citizens to get their driving licenses issued and renewed. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif was on hand to inaugurate the province’s very first Mobile Police Station and Licensing Unit, describing it as a groundbreaking move towards bringing public services right to people’s doorsteps.

At the launch event, Maryam Nawaz Sharif took a tour of the mobile unit, checking out its various sections and chatting with the staff. This unit will provide a range of services, including FIR registration, learner and regular driving licenses, international licensing, and special facilities for women.

The goal of the Mobile Police Station Punjab is to reach out to remote areas, girls’ education centers, and working women throughout the province. Officials mentioned that this initiative is set to save time and offer convenience to thousands of citizens.

During the event, the Chief Minister handed over keys to the relevant officers and urged the staff to always be courteous and understanding towards the public. She also received a comprehensive briefing on how the unit will operate and stressed that this project represents a significant transformation in public service.
