ISPR: Asim Munir Warns Against Border Violations and Terrorist Proxies

Army Chief Asim Munir speaks at Balochistan workshop at GHQ Rawalpindi

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff, has reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to rooting out terrorist proxies and responding firmly to any border violations, whether direct or indirect. He shared these thoughts while speaking to participants at the 17th National Workshop in Balochistan, which took place at GHQ Rawalpindi.

During his address, Asim Munir commended the patriotic spirit and talent of the people from Balochistan, referring to the province as “Pakistan’s pride.” He pointed out its immense economic potential and encouraged citizens to take advantage of the development initiatives being rolled out by both federal and provincial governments.

The Army Chief stressed the significance of empowering the youth and the vital role civil society plays in the nation’s progress. He urged young people to turn away from divisive agendas and to actively participate in sustainable development and long-term stability.

He also denounced the propaganda propagated by India-backed groups like Fitna Al-Hind and Fitna Al-Khawarij, asserting that these factions incite violence and disrupt peace. Pakistan, he emphasized, is committed to regional stability but will not compromise its territorial integrity.

The workshop wrapped up with an engaging Q&A session, allowing participants to interact directly with the Army Chief on topics such as national security, development, and the inclusion of youth.
