Today, gold prices in Pakistan took a significant hit, gold price falls Rs 14000 per tola as both local and global markets experienced sharp declines. The price of 24-carat gold now stands at Rs 416,362 per tola, while 10 grams of 24-carat gold has fallen to Rs 356,963 after a drop of Rs 12,003. According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, this steep decline of gold price falls is noteworthy: 24-carat gold is currently priced at Rs 416,362 per tola following that Rs14,000 drop, and 10 grams of it has decreased by Rs12,003 to Rs356,963.
On the international front, gold mirrored this downward trend, losing $140 and settling around $3,940 per ounce, which has put additional pressure on domestic prices.
Analysts are pointing to a combination of global bullion weakness and currency fluctuations that have dampened safe-haven demand, leading to this significant single-day decline in Pakistan’s gold market.
