On 5th August 2025, the sacred cause of Kashmir was honored with deep passion during the observance of “Youm-e-Istehsal Kashmir” at the prestigious Mughal Mahal Hotel, Gujranwala. The event was held to mark the ongoing plight of the people of Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir and to express unwavering solidarity with their struggle for freedom and justice.
The event was organized under the leadership of Raja Sikandar Khan, Chairman of the Global Pak Kashmir Supreme Council, a prominent figure in global advocacy for the Kashmir issue. Under his visionary guidance, a historic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Global Pak Kashmir Supreme Council and the Worldwide Generalists Community. This MoU symbolizes a renewed commitment to highlight the Kashmiri people’s freedom movement across global platforms, especially through international media and civil society engagement.
The grand gathering began at noon and concluded at 1 PM with a splendid lunch. The event brought together a wide array of notable guests, human rights activists, journalists, and community leaders, all unified in their message of support for the Kashmiri people.
A heartfelt acknowledgment was extended to Naeem Asif Mughal, the owner of Mughal Mahal Hotel, who hosted the entire event at his own expense, covering both the venue and catering. His generous gesture stood as a powerful example of how the business community can stand shoulder to shoulder with the national cause.
This impactful and emotional event reinforced the global commitment to advocating for Kashmir’s right to self-determination and to expose human rights violations in the region. It served as a reminder that the spirit of Kashmir lives in the hearts of Pakistanis and Kashmiris worldwide.
