A special training program was organized in connection with the tree plantation campaign at The Guidance House School System under the environmental improvement project “Heal the Earth” Plant Nursery organized by Anjuman Falah-o-Behbud Insaniyat Mirpur. The aim of this program was to highlight the spirit of tree plantation and tree cultivation in the hearts of students and to make them feel the practical responsibility of protecting the environment.
In the program, President Anjuman Dr. Tahir Mahmood, Incharge Women’s Wing Ms. Ayesha Malik and Admin Officer Majid Abdul Munir, while addressing the program, highlighted the importance of trees in human life. The speakers said that just as a mother nourishes her child by breastfeeding, similarly trees give oxygen, shade, beauty and life to the earth. They told the students that a tree not only provides clean air for humans to breathe but also serves as a home for birds, animals and insects.
If we plant a sapling today, tomorrow it can become a tree and become a source of life for future generations. The speakers gave examples from different countries of the world and said that countries like Japan and China considered environmental projects a national duty and today their green cities are an example for the whole world. Similarly, we also have to take practical steps to make our homeland green. Tree planting should not be just a seasonal campaign but a permanent way of life.
Principal The Guidance House School and College System Mirpur Uzma Taskin thanked the team of Anjuman Falah-o-Behbud Insanyasi Mirpur and said that this institution is a pioneer of positive and healthy activities in the society. She expressed her determination that The Guidance House School and College System will continue to work side by side with the Anjuman in the future as well, not only making the tree planting campaign successful, but will also continue to give the message of love for nature and protection of the environment to the students.
This event was actually practical proof that if we all take up the task of planting a sapling together, then in the coming years our homeland will not only be protected from environmental pollution but will also be a beautiful, clean and healthy gift for future generations. Remember, planting a tree is not just about making the earth green but also about continuing the breath of life. At the end of the ceremony, plant seeds were distributed among the students and the children vowed that they would definitely grow plants by planting these seeds in their homes. They promised that this campaign would not be limited to today only but they would make it a part of their daily lives, so that the environment always remains green and lush.
