Azad Kashmir’s Mirpur: The government of Azad Jammu & Kashmir has announced that Raja Tahir Mumtaz Khan is the new Commissioner of Mirpur Division. Senior officials, including Assistant Commissioner Raja Zahid Hussain, Mangla Dam Collector Raja Tariq Mahmood, Deputy Commissioner Ch. Sajid Aslam, and other employees, applauded his appointment.
Commissioner Raja Tahir Mumtaz stressed that the Revenue Department and Commissioner Office are important state institutions during his first meeting. He urged all employees to treat citizens with dignity, promptly address their concerns, and give complaints top priority. He made it very clear that no citizen’s work should be postponed without cause.
He also emphasized the significance of Mirpur Division, pointing out that a large number of its citizens reside overseas. He instructed employees to pay particular attention to the issues encountered by Kashmiris living abroad and to guarantee prompt resolutions.
In order to enhance office discipline and public service, Raja Tahir Mumtaz declared that a detailed action plan would be presented in the upcoming days. He emphasized that all workers must abide by the rules and conduct themselves with integrity and decency.
It is anticipated that his leadership will improve the experience of citizens visiting government offices throughout Mirpur Division and bring about positive reforms.
