The major match between Pakistan and India will take place on February 15 in Colombo, according to the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) announcement of the complete T20 World Cup 2026 schedule. The schedule was formally unveiled at a ceremony in Mumbai. The tournament will take place from February 7 to March 8. This time, the event will be jointly hosted by Sri Lanka and India.

Chennai, New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Colombo, and Kandy are the seven locations where games will take place. Twenty teams in all, split into four groups, will take part. The top two teams from each group advance to the Super 8 stage, just like in the previous format. The top two teams from each Super 8 group will then advance to the semi-finals.

  • Group B: Australia, Sri Lanka, Ireland, Zimbabwe, Oman

  • Feb 7: Pakistan vs Netherlands
  • Feb 10: Pakistan vs USA (in Colombo)
  • Feb 15: Pakistan vs India (in Colombo)
  • Feb 18: Pakistan vs Namibia

The dates of the Super 8 stage are February 21–March 1. The first semifinal will take place in Kolkata on March 4, while the second semifinal will take place in Mumbai on March 5. Pakistan’s semifinal will take place in Colombo, though, if they make it.

Again, if Pakistan advances to the final, it will take place in Colombo. The final match is scheduled for Ahmedabad. High-energy cricket and thrilling matchups are promised in this exciting tournament, particularly the eagerly anticipated match between Pakistan and India.
