After an exciting 3-2 victory over Hong Kong in the final played in Muscat, Pakistan has won the IBSF Snooker World Cup 2025 Team Championship. Muhammad Asif and Asjad Iqbal, two Pakistani players, put on an incredible display and overcame a 1-2 deficit to win.

In the doubles match, Hong Kong took a 2-1 lead again. In the reverse singles, however, Pakistan recovered. Asjad Iqbal’s 104-point break against Nansen Wan sealed the 3-2 victory after Muhammad Asif’s outstanding 100-point break against Chao Ho Man.
Muhammad Asif has won seven world titles in his career, including one World Masters title, three team titles, and three individual titles.
