All ministers have now been formally assigned to their departments after the Azad Kashmir government finished rearranging Azad Kashmir cabinet portfolios.
The Senior Minister is Mian Abdul Waheed Advocate. The Power Development Organization and the Law Department will be headed by Syed Bazil Ali Naqvi. The ministries of Forests and Health have been assigned to Sardar Javed Ayub. The new Finance Minister is Chaudhry Rasheed. Chaudhry Rafiq Nayyar will oversee information and IT, and Dewan Ali Khan Chughtai will lead school education.
Chaudhry Ali Shan Soni has been assigned to the Food Ministry, while Javed Budhanvi will be in charge of Agriculture and Rehabilitation. Yasir Sultan is now the Minister of Housing, and Chaudhry Qasim Majeed has been assigned to Planning and Land Revenue. Sardar Zia-ul-Qamar will oversee Public Works (PWD), while Chaudhry Arshad will lead Electricity and Power.
Sardar Muhammad Hussain will be the Minister for Ushr and Zakat, while Sardar Faheem Akhtar Rabbani has been reappointed as Minister for Tourism and Industry. Zafar Iqbal Malik will be in charge of college education, Chaudhry Amir Yasin is now Minister of Local Government, and Chaudhry Ikhlaq Ahmed has been assigned Excise and Revenue. Fahad Yaqoob will oversee Sports, Youth Affairs, and Culture, while Ahmad Saghir has been assigned to Prisons.
All ministers have officially taken charge of their departments and begun their duties. Prime Minister Faisal Mumtaz Rathore has instructed the cabinet to focus on improving performance and announced that each department will present its progress in the next cabinet meeting.
