PM AJ&K Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq Given Deadline Until 2 PM to Resign

PM AJ&K Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq given deadline

Political tensions are heating up in Azad Kashmir, with the Prime Minister facing a deadline to resign by 2 PM. Sources reveal that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has sent a strong message to PM AJ&K Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, either step down by the deadline or be prepared for a no-confidence motion in the assembly. Reports indicate that the PPP has the support of 36 assembly members, which bolsters their position to push ahead with the no-confidence motion. If the PM AJ&K Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq doesn’t resign by the deadline, the motion will be officially submitted later today.

On the flip side, Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq has made it clear that he intends to fight the no-confidence challenge and is ready to confront the opposition in the assembly. He reiterated his previous statement, suggesting that if the opposition has the necessary votes, they should go ahead and present the motion.

It’s important to note that both the Pakistan People’s Party and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) have already agreed to move forward with the no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister. Meanwhile, the PML-N’s parliamentary party and federal committee are set to meet today to finalize their strategy and coordinate efforts with the PPP.

Political analysts are suggesting that this situation could be a pivotal moment for Azad Kashmir’s political scene, potentially altering alliances and shifting power dynamics within the assembly.
