Mirpur, AJK – Owais Qazi Sahib has been elected as the new president of the Khaliqabad Traders Association. The oath-taking and announcement ceremony was attended by notable personalities, including Sardar Ansar Ali Khan, a renowned resistance leader of Poonch and an active member of the Public Action Committee.
During the program, speakers highlighted the importance of unity among business communities across Mirpur. They stressed that the role of local trader organizations has always remained vital in raising a collective voice for the people.
The Khaliqabad Traders Association vowed to actively participate in upcoming public initiatives. Owais Qazi expressed his determination to work for the welfare of traders and strengthen cooperation with other associations in the city. He further said that Khaliqabad’s business community will stand shoulder to shoulder with the Joint Public Action Committee and will fully answer their call on September 29.
