Azad Kashmir Rehabilitation Minister Chaudhry Javed Badhanvi, while addressing a reception given in his honor upon his arrival in Britain, said that the newly elected government of Britain should play a role in resolving the Kashmir issue. Kashmiris have many expectations from the current Labour government of Britain.
The solution to the Kashmir issue is possible through UN resolutions. He demanded that the British government take notice of the Indian government’s conspiracy to change the historical status of Kashmir. India is trying in vain to end the Kashmiri movement by taking all undemocratic measures in occupied Kashmir. Azad Kashmir Rehabilitation Minister Chaudhry Javed Badhanvi said that the current government of the Labour Party should play a role in resolving the Kashmir issue as per the previous promise made in its manifesto.
Kashmiris have always supported the Labour Party. He told the British MPs. He asked them to play a role in resolving the Kashmir issue. He said that Pakistanis and Kashmiris living in the UK have a positive and key role in the Kashmir freedom movement, which is valued by Kashmiris on both sides. He said that the people of the country, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, saved the country of Pakistan by sacrificing their lives.
